About Me

I’ve come to believe that our lives are shaped not only by what happens to us, but by the meaning we make of those experiences.

The relationships we build, the losses we experience, the families we create and the unexpected turns life takes, all leave their mark.

My story

Before training as a Psychotherapist, I spent more than twenty years working in senior brand, strategy and leadership roles, with organisations including Saatchi & Saatchi, the BBC, L’Oréal and Unilever.

During my corporate career, I also took on a range of non-executive and advisory roles across healthcare and the charity sector. These include collaborating with the NHS on initiatives to improve postnatal care, being elected to the policy committee of a political party to help drive change in women’s health policy, serving on an advisory committee focused on parental mental health, and acting as Director of the Lady Garden Foundation, supporting its work to raise awareness of the five gynaecological cancers.

Working across business, healthcare, public policy and the charity sector shaped my understanding of how our experiences, relationships and wider world affect our emotional wellbeing. Retraining as a psychotherapist brought this experience together with my longstanding interest in people and relationships. Today, I work with individuals and couples through significant moments in their lives, and never lose sight of the trust involved in sharing their stories.

Outside work, I’m a mother and a long-distance runner. Family life is busy, imperfect and, like many families today, ours doesn’t fit neatly into a box. It’s a constant reminder that relationships ask us to adapt, repair and keep choosing one another, even when life becomes complicated.

How I work

As an Integrative Psychotherapist, I tailor therapy to the person sitting in front of me.My work is grounded in psychodynamic psychotherapy, helping us understand how past experiences and relationships continue to shape the way we think, feel and relate today. Depending on your needs, I also draw on attachment theory, EMDR, cognitive and behavioural approaches, and always work in a trauma-informed way, recognising how difficult experiences can continue to affect us long after they’ve happened.

Whether you’re making sense of longstanding patterns, navigating one of life’s biggest moments or working through a more immediate challenge, my aim is always the same, to help you better understand yourself, strengthen your relationships and find ways to feel and live better

Beyond the Therapy Room

I founded The Nest Club after seeing how difficult it can be to find the right support during some of life’s most important moments. Whether it’s trying to conceive, becoming a parent, navigating a relationship or simply coping with the pressures of modern family life, too many people are left feeling they have to struggle on alone. Bringing together a carefully selected team of therapists, The Nest Club was created to make high-quality, evidence-based therapy more accessible, helping individuals, couples and families find the right support when they need it.
